Persuasiveness’ among college students of Mustansisriyah University

Abstract

       The current research aims to identify the level of persuasion among students in the College of Science at Al-Mustansiriya University, and to determine the significance of differences in persuasion levels based on gender (females, males). A random sample of (200) male and female students from the first and fourth years in the Chemistry and Physics departments was selected for the academic year 2024-2025. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher developed a persuasion scale based on Bandura's (1977) definition. After processing the data using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the researcher reached the following important results:1. The research sample possesses a satisfactory level of persuasion.2. There are statistically significant differences in the level of persuasion
