Narrative speed is a prominent technique within the framework of narrative time, enabling the narrator to control the story's duration and regulate its artistic rhythm. These speeds vary, including omission, pause, summary, and scene, lending the text movement and a diverse tone. In novels, reality and imagination generally intertwine, while in autobiographical texts, narrative speeds take a specific course linked to reality and life events. Each type of narrative speed has its own characteristics and functions that contribute to shaping the text's temporal structure.Through this, the narrative rhythm is varied, and the aesthetic control over narrative time is highlighted.
