Abstract

The study aims to clarify the factors determining the EU's weight in the international arena s ability to translate the goals it seeks to achieve in various areas. The study identifies the roles of international conglomerates and organizations during the current decade and compares the European Union's potential and policies toward the United States of America. The study attempts to answer some important questions: To what extent will differences and disputes between the European Union and the United States affect the course of international relations in general? What impact does the European role of the United States of America have on most of the world's initiatives and movements? The study is based on the hypothesis that there is a correlation between the institutional composition and geopolitical components of the European Union and the determination of its international weight in various international fields ", the scientific significance of the study is that it examines the political aspects of the international bloc of the European Union, which is the result of interim conventions and treaties between several European countries, To illustrate this, the study employs both the comparative analytical curriculum and the content analysis curriculum to reach its objectives.

The study found that the emergence of Euro-American relations at their best because they played an important role in determining the ceiling that the Union goes to in shaping its policies independent of the United States of America towards the Arab region. and that the sovereignty of the major States of the European Union cannot be completely dissolved in the Union's legal personality., Given its historical personality on the international scene, this means that the union will not reach the federalism system, and will remain within the confederation levels. The study came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to promote greater security in European policy to make partner countries more resilient to and responsive to current threats, and the new focus on security will open the door to a wide range of new areas of cooperation under European policy.
