Abstract

The current research aims to identify the academic subjective well-being among university students, as well as to know the statistically significant differences in the variable of academic subjective well-being among university students according to the variables (male - female) and specialization (scientific and humanities). To achieve the objectives of the current research, the researchers followed the descriptive approach of correlational studies. They also chose the sample of the current research community using the random stratified method with an appropriate distribution. The size of the current research population reached (400) male and female students from the university students, then they were randomly selected from the community, which numbered (15,364) male and female students. The measurement of the current research variable, the researchers built a scale of academic subjective well-being according to the scientific criteria for constructing psychological scales and adopted the theory of (self-determination (2000): as it reached its paragraphs (22) paragraphs in its final morning
