Risk in events and days in the pre-Islamic era

Abstract

           This research examines risk-taking in real-life situations and reveals its psychological, systemic, and biological dimensions. Risk-taking is considered a psychological faculty that motivates individuals to face difficulties and dangers, venturing into their depths and risking themselves, their families, and their. Possessions Engaging in warfare was not the preferred option for the pre-Islamic Arabs, it was a destructive force that consumed crops and livestock, and its impact on people's souls was grave and terrifying. They were inherently aware of its dangers and understood its horrors and the calamities and perils it brought upon the warring parties. Despite the poet's condemnation of war and his avoidance of it, considering it a grave crime that disrupts the joys and pleasures of life, On the opposite end, we find him trying to prove his heroic self as a fighting knight who risks his life, keeping in mind the facts and days to prove his courage and show it to others as a positive and commendable social behavioral value. The evidence of his risking is the poetry of the days of the Arabs and their events in the pre-Islamic era. This poetry is considered a rich historical and literary material and a huge cultural and human asset, representing the roots of the pre-Islamic poetic heritage in all its stages, and drawing a true picture of the events that the pre-Islamic people went through.
