The contributions of Iraqi religious satellite channels to achieving social reform among university students.

Abstract

This research seeks to identify the Iraqi religious satellite channels and achieve social reform, and the extent of their knowledge and follow-up to them, in addition to knowledge of the motives achieved through watching.

The problem of research in the main question (how much contribution of Iraqi religious channels in achieving social reform)

This study is based on descriptive studies using a survey methodology for a sample of the population of Karbala holy governorate. It reached (220) respondents who were selected in a deliberate manner and collected the data using a field questionnaire prepared for this purpose. And the right to impose a reference to the existence of a link between the Iraqi religious satellite channels and the achievement of social reform.

The main findings of the research are as follows:

1- The results showed that the majority of the sample members are those who watch religious satellite channels, as they obtained a percentage (100%).

 2-Karbala channel ranked first in preference with 18.5%, while Al-Anwar channel ranked second with 39%, Al-Furat ranked third and 26%. Al-Manar channel ranked fourth and 17%.

3-The respondents' responses confirmed the support of the terms of the measure regarding the realization of the Iraqi religious satellite channels for social reform.
