Spatial analysis of pools in the People's Municipality

Abstract

The swimming pools in Al-Shaab municipality are considered one of the important entertainment places for the people of this district, which were concentrated in specific places in the study area. Whereas the climate has the greatest impact in increasing its frequencies, especially in the summer, the identification and analysis of the spatial distribution of pools in Al-Shaab municipality helps us to know the pattern of distribution of the phenomenon, whether random or regular, and the extent to which these swimming pools accommodate the population of the region, which number six swimming pools.

The research has shown the irregular spatial distribution of these swimming pools and their places were concentrated in the south of the region using the analysis of the closest neighbor through which the random distribution became clear, because the ratio of the criterion is 2.91, which is greater than the ratio of the criterion specified for the distribution of swimming pools (2.58) and the direction was from northwestern - southeast As for the analysis of the standard distance, it is clear from it that it falls within one region (one circle), meaning that the standard distance between them is very little.

The study concluded that most of the attendees, according to the economic side, attend it monthly and then weekly, and they are male in general from the age of youth (20-40 years), and that these swimming pools are located on the main streets, as the study suggested the establishment of several swimming pools in the study area as shown in map (4) ) On lands owned by the state in case of investment.
