This paper aims at realizing how far the Shingal Technical Institute undergraduates use social media in e-learning drawing on gender, major, and level variables. To this end, 140 undergraduates of the Shingal Technical Institute who are engaged in the study in the term 2020-2021 have been chosen as a sample of the survey. The research methodology is a 125-item predesigned questionnaire following the multi-item Likert scale. After the questionnaire was circulated the subjects, the responses have been gathered. As the responses were analyzed and sorted, the results were statistically computed, and the perecentages have been calculated, the findings indicated that:
1.The Shingal Technical Institute underhgraduates use social media networks in e-learning to a large degree.
2.There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (α=0.05) in undergraduates’ use of social media networks in e-learning attributable to sex, major, and level variables.
Based on this discussion, the paper proposed several conclusions, suggestions, recommendations, and remedial tips that can help make social media networks more applicable and advantageous in educational and learning-related settings and areas.
