Emotional Discipline and Its Relationship to Time Awareness among Kindergarten Children

Abstract

     The current research aims to identify the level of emotional discipline and time awareness, as well as the correlation between the two variables among kindergarten children. In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher prepared two scales: emotional discipline and time awareness. The final version of the scale comprised (26) items, while the time awareness scale comprised (20) items. Its psychometric properties were verified, and the scale was applied to a sample of (200) boys and girls from the Baghdad Education Directorate, Second Rusafa, selected using a simple random sampling method for the academic year (2024-2025)

In light of the current research objectives, the following results were reached:

  Children do not have emotional regulation -

  Kindergarten children do not possess temporal awareness-

-There is a positive correlation between emotional regulation and temporal awareness.
